Therapy

Dr. Manning recognizes people have many choices when selecting a mental health care provider and she appreciates your interest in her practice.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and the first Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) in Colorado per the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists, Dr. Manning specializes in working with individuals impacted by sexual betrayal in their primary relationship. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, research-based care in a safe, confidential, supportive, and professional manner. Dr. Manning has been involved in therapeutic work for over two decades and has earned a reputation for having a thorough and no-nonsense approach to challenging issues.

Her therapeutic approach is influenced by her training in family systems theory, as well as the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model, Post-Induction Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) modalities. As a result, Dr. Manning’s work is systemic, partner-sensitive, and trauma-informed.

Dr. Manning’s therapeutic services include individual therapy, group therapy, and full therapeutic disclosures.

Although Dr. Manning does not work directly with individuals struggling with a compulsive sexual behavior disorder, she has close working relationships with a number of Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSATs) in the region and can provide coordinated care to those who wish to work in conjunction with their significant other’s recovery process. She also collaborates with several specialists, including trauma specialists, psychiatrists, polygraphists, and in-patient facilities.

To improve therapy access for betrayed individuals whose schedules or circumstances make regular in-person sessions challenging, Dr. Manning is a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH). Her specialized training in remote care allows her to provide high-quality ethical services by phone or online for those who are a fit for this type of care. Currently, Dr. Manning only offers remote care to Colorado residents.
